1. Equine Liability & Assumption of Risk Warning

WARNING: Under California law, horse sports, riding, training, and handling livestock are inherently dangerous activities that involve a high risk of property damage, severe personal injury, or death.

By purchasing, accepting, or using any handmade horse tack, equipment, or miscellaneous items produced, repaired, or modified by Laser Edge Leather, the purchaser and end-user explicitly acknowledge these inherent risks. It is the sole responsibility of the user to inspect all leather, stitching, buckles, snaps, and hardware prior to every single use. Leather is a natural material subject to wear, aging, and environmental stress; regular inspection and maintenance are strictly required for safety.

2. Limitation of Liability

Laser Edge Leather, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be held legally or financially liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, injuries, losses, accidents, or fatalities resulting from the use, misuse, maintenance, or structural failure of our products, gear, or equipment. All products are accepted and used by the customer "as-is" and at their own exclusive risk.

3. Proprietary Designs & Intellectual Property Notice

All original product designs, custom tooling patterns, geometric or Southwestern layouts, logos, trade names, brand concepts, and photographic content displayed or created by Laser Edge Leather are the exclusive intellectual property of the business. Any unauthorized reproduction, copying, modification, or distribution of our proprietary work for commercial use without express, written consent is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action under federal copyright and trademark laws.

4. Official Policy Reference

All transactions, custom order deposits, processing times, and repair services are strictly governed by our full Terms of Service and Shipping & Production Policy. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Non-Refundable Deposits: All custom projects requiring a 100% upfront deposit are strictly non-refundable.

  • Timeline Estimates: Completion dates are estimations only; Laser Edge Leather is not liable for production delays.

  • Late Fees & Abandonment: Unpaid or uncollected items are subject to late fees after 7 calendar days from completion notice, and will be legally treated as abandoned property under California Civil Code if left unclaimed.

5. Right to Modify Policies

Laser Edge Leather reserves the explicit right to modify, amend, update, or change these Terms of Service, Shipping Policies, and Legal Notices at any time and without prior notice. Any updates become effective immediately upon being posted, updated on our forms, or displayed in the shop. It is the customer's responsibility to review current policies prior to initiating any new custom order or repair service.

6. Governing Law

Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or relating to the products, services, or policies of Laser Edge Leather shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of California, with sole jurisdiction and venue held in the courts of San Bernardino County.
