About Us

Laser Edge Leather was established in 2020. It is a small family owned business located in Apple Valley, CA. Employees consist of the artist and maker, Bridget Hannawacker, and her husband Robert Vermette. Laser Edge Leather is a small leather shop that specializes in building horse tack, belts, knife sheaths, dog collars, ect, from scratch. All items start from a plain side of high quaility USA leather, and are hand built to your specifications. Laser Edge Leather also offers saddle and tack repair, to prolong the life and safety of your items. 

My name is Bridget Hannawacker and I started my leatherwork journey in 2019. I started by customizing pre made leather tack, and my interest in building tack grew. I have had so many amazing leatherwork proferssionals help me get started and help improove my work along the way. The leatherwork community is very friendly and supportive. I strive to support and help others who have a interest in this form of art. 

Just like any other hobby, sport, or business, there is always more to learn. 

I am so very thankful I have been able to make the jump from taking my hobby to a small business. I am always busy working on orders, or creating new product, but I enjoy every minute of it. 

When I'm not in my shop, I'm spending time with my family, and working with my horses.
